Western Pennsylvania Regional Urban Search and Technical Rescue Team is staffed by volunteers from the emergency response community.
Our history
Western Pennsylvania Regional Search and Technical Rescue was founded in 2021. But, we have a 20 year history as part of PA-ST1, established in 2002 and operational in 2003.
Our mission
Our mission is to assure that the technical rescue resources in Western Pennsylvania have the equipment and training they need to complete their mission.
